How to get Stendarr's Hammer - Elder Scrolls: Morrowind

Stendarr's Hammer is found in the Museum of Artifacts, a building in Mournhold which is part of the Tribunal Expansion Pack. This weapon is one of the initial weapons on display in the museum and despite the fact that it is insanely heavy and well guarded it's possible to steal it.

You can find the Museum of Artifacts in the Godsreach district of Mournhold. If you've never been to Mournhold before check out my how to reach Mournhold page for more information. Stendarr's Hammer is found on the second floor sitting on a display platform right next to one of the flights of stairs.

Those of you who'd like to steal this weapon, your best bet is with Chameleon and good positioning. If you position yourself properly on the staircase near the hammer you can safely hide yourself from one of the two guards, your Chameleon spell will get you out of trouble with the other guard. Even if one sees you, you'll be able to Recall in time to escape if needed.
