Zephyr: Weapon Rune Word - Diablo 2

Zephyr is the lowest level Missile Weapon Rune Word in the entire game and it's popular amongst Bowzons for the benefits it offers. While it lacks in +Enhanced Damage it makes up for that in the form of added Lightning Damage, Attack Rating, Attack Speed (IAS), -% Target Defense and the increased movement speed.

Increased movement speed will allow you to get more shots off overall since you'll spend less time kiting enemies, these sorts of things make up for the lack of +Enhanced Damage.

Keep in mind that all Rune Words you create will retain any pre-existing bonuses found on the item. If you find a 'Superior' piece of armor with +Enhanced Defense, a Superior Weapon with +Enhanced Damage or a Helm/Weapon that has +Skill bonuses for a certain class, all of these will remain on the final Rune Word that is created. Farming High Runes: Out of all locations in the game one stands above the rest for farming specifically High Runes, the Countess during Act 1.
