Infinity: Weapon Rune Word - Diablo 2

Infinity is one of the more useful Rune Words to use on a Mercenary due to the built in Conviction Aura. Any build that deals elemental damage (Poison, Physical and Mage are not elemental) will benefit from the Conviction Aura in this weapon since it'll decrease the enemies resists to your abilities.

Keep in mind that the -% to Lightning Resistance only works for the character equipping it, so it'll work for your Mercenary with the Chain Lightning proc but not for you if you're a Trapsin, Lightning Sorceress or Javazon. To top off the awesomeness of this weapon it also comes with a high chance to hit with Crushing Blow; a move that deals a % based damage of the enemies current HP in damage.

Keep in mind that all Rune Words you create will retain any pre-existing bonuses found on the item. If you find a 'Superior' piece of armor with +Enhanced Defense, a Superior Weapon with +Enhanced Damage or a Helm/Weapon that has +Skill bonuses for a certain class, all of these will remain on the final Rune Word that is created. Farming High Runes: Out of all locations in the game one stands above the rest for farming specifically High Runes, the Countess during Act 1.
