Bioshock 1 Guides & Walkthroughs

Bioshock is a first person shooter that was released in 2007 and is set in a utopian world that has since become a dystopia. The game's story explores the failures of Rapture, an underwater city that started as a utopian dream and has since become a dystopian nightmare. What makes this game even more unique is it incorporates many ideas from famous philosophers such as Ayn Rand, Aldous Huxley and George Orwell.

Aside from the unique and very well told story Bioshock has a rather standard FPS system that takes a more survivalist approach like Resident Evil. Ammo is scarce and you'll need to conserve it. Plasmids are Bioshock's take on a Magic or Abilities system and it works well and is incorporated into the story magnificently.
