Diablo 3 Class Guides
Trying hard to decide what class you want to play in Diablo 3? Are you wondering what class is the best at farming or maybe what class is the most like a Necromancer from Diablo 2? Or maybe you're just here because you want some more information on the classes of the game that wasn't provided on Blizzard's website. Whatever your reason may be I hope that all of your questions are answered via these Class Guides that I have taken my time to put together.
The Barbarian is a Warrior type and is exactly like the Barbarian from Diablo 2. If you enjoyed the Barbarian from Diablo 2 and you're looking for a similar play experience then you don't have to look any further than the D3 Barb. As aforementioned (in case you've never played a Diablo before) a Barbarian is a Warrior so if you enjoy the sword/axe/mace swinging type of character look no further.
The Demon Hunter is a ranged class with an array of abilities involving bows or crossbows and even throwing knives. Also they have a wide range of traps at their disposal which damage, ensare or can otherwise inhibit their opponents. Demon Hunters are much like a mix of an Assassin and an Amazon from Diablo 2. Outside of Diablo they are kind of like a Hunter or a Ranger in other RPG games.
Monks are unarmed holy warriors and they
A Witch Doctor is a Voodoo man that can conjure up different types of creatures to fight with him and for him. He also has an array of powerful magical abilities at his dispoal, much like a Wizard but not as powerful. The Witch Doctor is much like a Necromancer from Diablo 2 and is the only class currently in the game that is able to have pets alongside him.
