Erudin Burning - HoT Leveling Guide
The House of Thule zone, Erudin Burning has a few different locations to hunt depending on if you're soloing, boxing or with a group. The first part of the guide is going to assume you're a soloer or with relatively low numbers (maybe a friend and mercenaries or you're boxing one or two characters).
The map above covers the northern most part of the zone which is the easier half of the zone. The large areas marked in blue are where you'll find dock rats which are fairly easy to kill compared to the humanoid enemies in the same location. The large purple areas are where you'll mostly find the heratic humanoid enemies.
One and two on the map above mark both of the quest givers in Erudin Burning that have useful kill tasks for this location. Their names are Exterminator Cedrin and Kordian Keshalian and their tasks are called On the Rebound and Extermination. For more information about these two and their tasks follow the links provided.
These northern camps are fairly good EXP but really shine when you grind both the tasks while also grinding the mobs up here. This is one of the best locations in the entire expansion pack.
As for the second half of Erudin Burning - ramp up that difficulty!! The southern portion of Erudin Burning is no $%^ joke man - there's mobs everywhere!! You're going to need invis that works against undead enemies (and regular invis too would be nice) to make your way safely down to any southern camp.
Undead invis is required regular invis is reccomended. The two safest locations to camp in the southern portion of Erudin Burning are both marked on my map above with light blue colors. The northern line is up against the wall on a cliff. This is the safest spot in the southern portion of the zone - no enemies can get up here unless someone trains you.
The second safest area is the small blue circle at the bottom of the southern steps. There's enemies on all sides of the stairs but you can position yourself safely in the middle area and not agro the two skeletons on the side. There is not much wiggle room but it can be done.
Finally the last spot I have marked on my map above is the medium sized orange circle. This location is the least populated area in southern Erudin Burning. If you can't handle much down south and are struggling this area will be best for you.

- The only way for players to reach Erudin Burning is by traveling through Feerrott: The Dream to HoT Lower Floors.
- If you're having trouble managing your Inventory Space I highly recommend you invest in some Extraplanar Trade Satchels which are 32 Slot Tradeskill Bags. Alternatively you could also buy Unexpanded Tailored Backpacks as well. Though, the Backpacks will likely be more expensive. Follow the links provided to learn more about each item.
