The Hole Farming Guide

I know I say it with almost every farming area but The Hole for a long while was probably one of my favorite areas to farm. There are hundreds of mobs here all with low HP and that don't hit hard at all. You can run around The Hole for hours and hours grinding endlessly and almost never run out of mobs to kill. I say almost because I bet if you have an extremely powerful AoE ability and one shot everything you will run out of mobs to kill, but that is probably pretty uncommon. Since the entire bestiary of The Hole is worth killing there isn't a set area I am going to tell you to go too, the only mobs I say to skip at the ones at the entrance nearby where you zone in from the Underwater entrance of Paineel.

But, with the Underfoot expansion most people just run into The Hole and drop down anymore so the underwater entrance isn't even used all that much anymore. Dropping down from the giant hole in Paineel is the most direct way to get to the best mobs worth killing. They're the highest level mobs in the zone and drop the most plat and valuable items. Also they hit the hardest so depending on how powerful you are you may actually have to worry a little bit about that.

Also there are usually always at least a player or two in this area so be courteous and don't mow over their entire camp! As far as the loot goes in The Hole you will want to be looting pretty much everything to vendor. The only items you don't want to vendor are the Cultural Items, Spell Research Materials and Defiant Gear as you will want to sell all of them in The Bazaar.
