Almar's Everquest Farming Guides (70 - 75)

This section has Farming Guides that will most benefit you between the levels of 70 and 75. Almost all of these farming locations are worth while past level 75 but levels 70 - 75 are the first levels you can come here. Unlike the level ranges before 70 - 75, there aren't many new, great, farming locations to add in this level range. The PoJ Tunnels and Acylia Caverns are good from here up to level 85 but are trumped at 85 by a few better locations. As seen in the other farming sections, an example of the format I will use to show you each of the farming locations can be found below.

Spiderling Silk - Cresent Reach (1 - 10) (This link will be clickable and will take you to the page for the Farming Location.)
AA Prerequisite: 0 (Tells you how many well placed AAs you should have before coming here.)
Damage Dealt: 1 - 10 (Tells you how much damage you can expect the mobs to do.)
XP At Location: Yes (Tells you if you will get XP here in the designated level bracket that I gave.)
PP Per Hour: 150 - 200 PP (Tells you how much Plat you will make an hour.)
PP Per Kill: 0 (Tells you how much Plat you will make per Kill. *Raw Plat only*)
Mercenary Requirement: No (Tells you if you will need a Mercenary to hunt here.)
Classes: All (Tells you what classes can hunt here.)
Other: This is really the first location for farming (Gives you any additional information about the location.)

To prevent any confusion about the AA Prerequisite section, the "Important" AAs that I am talking about refer to the defensive AAs. These include Combat Agility, Combat Stability, Natural Durability, Physical Enhancement and so on and so forth. All of these are very important for you to get and should be acquired very early on. Of course if you're a caster you'll want to make sure you are able to take a beating or have the best pet available to you at the time. No one will know your limits better than you, so keep that in mind.

Almar's Everquest Farming Guides

Now that you know how to use the Farming Guides, here is a list of each of them for this level bracket. Please note that they are placed in order based on level, not how much plat they will make you per hour.

PoJ Tunnel

Dulak's Harbor Levels 72 - 75

Dulak's Harbor is a great place to farm plat from levels 72-75. You'll find plenty of mobs here to kill and they have a large agro radius, making it rather easy to round them up and AoE them down. If you are killing quickly and stay here for a long time you're going to find stuff adding up in your inventory rather quickly. If this happens, destroy Salil's Writ pages and Nilitim's Grimoire pages.

PP Per Hour Estimate: 2,400 to 3,000

Average Plat Per Kill: 6-10pp

Acrylia Caverns

Arcylia Caverns is another one of my favorite farming spots. The only thing that sucks about this zone is your inventory fills up super fast and there isn't a vendor for miles. In Acrylia Caverns you will need to destroy everything that isn't worth something. The Ore will be your best money, averaging 5-10pp at a vendor each.

The Words, and NON-Acrylia runes that drop here are worthless so you can destroy them. Also the crappy crafting materials can be destroyed as well.

PP Per Hour Estimate: 2,200 to 2,750

Temple of Droga 75+

The Temple of Droga is my second most favorite place to farm. (I like Plane of Hate too much!). This is one of the best farming locations that I've been able to find in the game. The mobs here drop 20pp on average which makes it super easy to roll in 3-5k an hour. You'll also run into a TON of nammeds in this zone. The stuff they drop isn't worth trying to sell in the Bazaar anymore, but sells to vendors very well.

You'll find the following nammeds here;

King Dronan
Flame Adept Verdalix
Flame Master Japal
Assistant Jailor Dravian
Blood Ritualist Taprom
Bone Caller Nathid
Bone Knight Runri
Bone Trooper Grolin

Chardok B 75+

Chardok B is another great zone to farm in, which if you couldn't guess it's right off Chardok. Chardok B is jam packed with both living and undead, unlike Chardok which is about 75% living. If you're a pally you're gonna have the time of your life tearing this zone up. If you come here from levels 75 to 78 Some of the mobs will still con green to you, so you may still get XP.

PP Per Hour Estimate: 2,400 to 3,200

Note: The living Sarnaks in the "Maze" of rooms are Headshotable
