Almar's Everquest Farming Guides (65 - 70)

This section has Farming Guides that will most benefit you between the levels of 65 and 70. Almost all of these farming locations are worth while past level 70 but levels 65 - 70 are the first levels you can come here. Two more of the best farming locations are introduced in this level bracket, City of Mist and Old Sebilis. City of Mist is a great farming location and a lot of run if you would like to relive the good ol' days but it is nothing compaired to Old Sebilis. Old Seb will give you tons of plat every kill and also Nodding Blue Lillys which you can sell in The Bazaar. Not only will you get a lot of PP per kill and goodies to sell in The Bazaar you will also get valuable gems.

Diamonds, Peridots, Fire Emeralds, Rubys and more. Every thing a growing boy could ever possibly want in his quest to make money. As seen in the other farming sections, an example of the format I will use to show you each of the farming locations can be found below.

Spiderling Silk - Cresent Reach (1 - 10) (This link will be clickable and will take you to the page for the Farming Location.)
AA Prerequisite: 0 (Tells you how many well placed AAs you should have before coming here.)
Damage Dealt: 1 - 10 (Tells you how much damage you can expect the mobs to do.)
XP At Location: Yes (Tells you if you will get XP here in the designated level bracket that I gave.)
PP Per Hour: 150 - 200 PP (Tells you how much Plat you will make an hour.)
PP Per Kill: 0 (Tells you how much Plat you will make per Kill. *Raw Plat only*)
Mercenary Requirement: No (Tells you if you will need a Mercenary to hunt here.)
Classes: All (Tells you what classes can hunt here.)
Other: This is really the first location for farming (Gives you any additional information about the location.)

To prevent any confusion about the AA Prerequisite section, the "Important" AAs that I am talking about refer to the defensive AAs. These include Combat Agility, Combat Stability, Natural Durability, Physical Enhancement and so on and so forth. All of these are very important for you to get and should be acquired very early on. Of course if you're a caster you'll want to make sure you are able to take a beating or have the best pet available to you at the time. No one will know your limits better than you, so keep that in mind.

Almar's Everquest Farming Guides

Now that you know how to use the Farming Guides, here is a list of each of them for this level bracket. Please note that they are placed in order based on level, not how much plat they will make you per hour.

City of Mist 65+

City of Mist is an old school zone located in the Emerald Jungle on Kunark. The zone is jam packed with undead creatures for you to kill which range from the mid 30s up low 50s. One of the good things that I like about this zone is you'll pretty much never run out of mobs to kill. This zone is also packed to the teeth with tons of different mobs, a few of them even nammeds. The loot from the nammeds won't sell in the Bazaar but you can vendor it for a pretty penny, or use it for Tribute, which ever you prefer.

Chardok Levels 65

Chardok is a zone right off of Burning Woods that was introduced during the Kunark Era. This zone is a great farming location for solid cash, Not much drops here that you can sell in the Bazaar. The mobs here don't hit very hard and have a large agro radius, which makes them perfect AoE candidates.

           You'll run into some nammeds while you're in Chardok. Almost none of their stuff will sell in the Bazaar, but it will sell to vendors! The nammeds you'll generally encounter are;

The Bridge Keeper
Observer Aq'touz
Arch Inspector Nibi'zi
Grave Master Zo'lun
Councilman Garkerok III
Councilman Ysabrial III

The path I usually use in Chardok is kill my way from the entrance the library near Overking Bathezid, then back to the entrance. Rinse and repeat.

Old Sebilis is one of my favorite farming spots in the game. You'll find a ton of items that are worth cash in this place.
