Almar's Everquest Farming Guides - Spiderling Silk

Location: Cresent Reach, or almost any Newbie Zone
PP per Hour estimate:150 - 200pp

Spiderling Silk is by far one of the best low level items to farm. Generally every Spiderling outside of Cresent Reach has a chance to drop 1-3 Silk. If you are below level 10 or right around level 10 then the Spiderlings are your best chance of making money. It may be a little bit of a hassle for the silk to sell in The Bazaar but you really have no other options at this level. Spiderlings can be found in most of the newbie zones but the best drop rate for the Silk is from the Spiderlings in Cresent Reach.

When looking for Spiderlings in the other newbie zones your best chance is in the lowest level part. Generally right around where you enter the zone when first starting out is where you can find them. The only newbie zone that comes to mind without Spiderlings is the only in Field of Bone, where Iksars start out. Other then that, I'm fairly certain you can find Spiderlings where ever else you go.

Important Note: Before you start farming it check to make sure it sells in the Bazaar. To do this go to The Bazaar and type /bazaar and search for Spiderling Silk.
